Application Process

Millennium High School serves students who live in Piedmont and in the surrounding area. Students who do not live in Piedmont can attend MHS via an Inter-District Transfer Permit from their home district. Once accepted into MHS, students who do not live in Piedmont must be able to obtain a completed and approved Inter-District Transfer Permit from their home school district. Please contact Rosalina Barrios, Administrative Assistant to the Piedmont USD Superintendent at rbarrios@piedmont.k12.ca.us with questions about the Inter-District Transfer process outside of Millennium High School.

The application window for the 2025-26 school year is closed.

The application window for the 2026-27 school year is open. Please see the application checklist below.  We have a rolling deadline.  Applications will be considered as they are received.

Complete applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Students who might benefit from the MHS model will be invited to an in-person interview with their parents/guardians.

▢ Current immunization records with proof of current Tdap vaccination
▢ A Copy of applicant's most recent IEP, 504 Plan, General Education Plan, etc. 
(if applicable) - For students with an IEP, the most recent triennial with all testing included is required.

Please note: All of the above documents are necessary to evaluate Millennium High School’s capacity to serve your student.  It is NOT necessary to get an IDT from your resident home district before applying.  If accepted, applying for an IDT will be the next step in the process.

MHS Prospective Student Information Night for the 2026-27 School Year: Information nights for families and students interested in applying to Millennium High School for the 2026-27 school year will be held on 09/30/25, 11/18/25, and 01/13/26 in-person at Millennium High School.
